Greece won the centre stage like that British Agent’s Favourite Sunny Vacation At the Travel Gossip Awards in London.
It is organized every year Travel Gossipa UK-based travel industry media and networking platform, the award took place at the 2025 travel celebration, celebrating excellence, innovation and outstanding service across the sector. Travel agents, tour operators, tourism agencies, airlines, cruise lines and other travel businesses were among those recognised.
British tour operator voted Greece is the best destination for sunlightPlace it ahead of other popular spots including Türkiye, Mallorca, Tenerife, Dubai, Portugal, and Cyprus.
Overall, Greece received nominations in six categories Best Foodie Destinations and Best Family Destinations.
Santorini was chosen by tour operators as “agent’s favourite romantic destination” and Mykonos was chosen as “agent’s favourite LGBTQ+ friendly destination.”

Eleni Skullbeli, The head of the Greece National Tourism Organization (GNTO) UK and Ireland offices accepted the award on behalf of Greece.
