Sharad Kelkar, who worked with Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in films such as Tanhaji, Laxmii, Sky Force, recently shared that being an actor on set is more important than sitting in front of a monitor and interfering with the director’s job. He said it is very rare when the actor is technically healthy. In a recent interview, Sharad shared how Ajay is technically aware, but Akshay, who appears to be extremely chilled on set, looks at everything that’s spinning.
Sharad worked with Ajay for the 2020 film Tanhaji, where he played the role of Chhatra Patisivajimaharaj. Directed by Om Raut, the film starred Ajay in a famous role. While talking about the actors who provide technical input during filming, Sharad told FilmFare:

He said, “But there are a lot of senior actors who are technically very healthy. They know. I worked with Ajay Devgn. He is technically very healthy. I have never seen an actor.
Sharad Kelkar recalled his work with Akshay Kumar, known for drawing pranks on sets. He said, “Akshay Sir is very clever like that too. He’s very aware. You feel like he’s cold and you play cricket on set, but he’s very aware of what’s going on with the set.”
Sharad collaborated with Akshay for the 2020 film Laxmii and the 2025 film Sky Force.
