Nigeria’s Most Important Music Awards – Headies Awards have been handing out trophies since 2006. The Album of the Year category was a battlefield of amazing musical bodies. From Afrobeat Bangers to Soulful Ballads, the award recognized the best albums that have broken the charts and shaped the Nigerian musical landscape.
With the 17th edition taking place in Lagos this Saturday, we look back and rank all the albums that have brought back coveted prizes so far.

16. Invasion – P-Square (2011)
