Like the red carpet, every celebrity has its own beach day style. Emily Ratakowski, for example, wears a head-to-toe Gucci and a fresh design from the runway. Olivia Rodrigo wears her swimsuit and conversation. And Bella Hadid embodies the trends of the early 2000s, as she does on dry land.
Hadid has spent the last few weeks flying around Europe and the UK. She made her usual appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, defeating almost half a dozen fits before heading to the Olevera launch party. Between the press appearance and the VIP event, Hadid was clearly able to squeeze the beach day, and the resulting outfit was as chic as her red carpet look.
While European summer aesthetics are trending in the fashion field, Hadid was steady in her styling. As always, her classic bikini take had its origins in the 00’s. She wears a $200 red trimmed polka dot bikini from Frankie’s bikini collaboration and is a tiny hem denim mini skirt, a cornerstone of rough fashion.

The supermodel styled the combo with a white graphic tee. She tied it into a makeshift crop top and a Blair Waldorf-esque ivory satin headband. She perfected the look with premier footwear trends from the era, a flat in Cherry Red Ballet.

However, the Hadid pair was clearly modern. She skipped the Tory Burch Reva Flats, which was popular at the time (and is now in the middle of a comeback), and slid through the see-through mesh pair. She rounded out her mid-2010 fit with a pair of vintage-inspired oval sunglasses.
