Bill Hader’s children keep him humble.
Presentation at Cinemacon 2025 at Warner Bros. Presentation on Tuesday Saturday Night Live When it was time to tease a new thing in the studio, the star looked like a loud applause Cat in a hat film. After showing an ongoing trailer, Hader joked that the announcement that starring Dr. Seuss’s favourite Fancy Feliaceae had done well with most of his children.
Their two eldest daughters, ex-wife Maggie Carrey (Hanna Kathryn and Harper), were excited, but his youngest, Haley Clementine, was less impressed. “Well, I have three daughters, I read it to them, and then my parents read it to me,” Hader told the crowd. “And I remember when I called about this. Cat in a hat? “Two of them were excited. And the youngest one said, “Boo!…Ryan Gosling!Boo! Booo! Booo!” (Apparently she wanted the cast to infuse some Kennelgy rather than Hader’s unique brand of humor).

It is described as “the doorway to our own Sussys” by Bildamaschke of Warner Bros. Animation Head. The real culprit, the wild zebra tears the screen and riots ordinary suburban homes with the help of other animals and firework stashes.
Along the way, the Haddar cat meets a giraffe along with a pig in a wig and fights to stick to his hat against the challenges of a tough new job.
On stage, Damaschke said of the film: “I know that a cat brings joy to children on rainy days. In our film, he still has to get the toughest mission and raise his game to keep that hat. It expands the story beyond the book.”
Hader said he’d been chasing the film for years and placed himself on tape for consideration. A little bit of 2014 SNL A sketch depicting the character of Dr. Seuss was performed for the crowd. In the sketch, Hader rushes into the living room to delight the children, played by Ady Bryant and Cecily Strong.

new Cat in a hat The Warner Bros. and Dr. Seuss Enterprises films were first released in 2018. The final feature adaptation of this particular Seuss character took place in 2003.

Hader appears in the film alongside American Ferrera, Bowenyan and Matt Berry. Cat in a hat It will be a hit in theaters in February 2026.
