Shah Rukh Khan has made many friends over the years in Bollywood, and Chunky Pandey was one of his first friends. In a new podcast interview, Chunky speaks highly of Shah Rukh, recalling the time when he and his wife Gauri Khan used to live in a rented apartment, and said that Shah Rukh had a dream of becoming a superstar someday. Chunky and Shah Rukh's bond
In an interview with Time Out With Ankit, Chunky spoke about Shah Rukh's regular visits to his home. “I think one of his first friends when he arrived in Bombay was my younger brother Chikki. They are still best friends. So at that time they (Shah Rukh and Gauri) He used to borrow it, and he used to come and see my brother while listening to video cassettes. So he and Gauri used to come to my house often.”
She added, “Because of Shah Rukh, I knew this kid was going to be a superstar. You can see that fire because he had it in him…He always had it. That talent was always there before he became a superstar. So he was very confident and knew where he was going. Of course, I've known him since then. I'm very proud of him. He hasn't changed.”
Ananya and Suhana are also close friends.
In the season 1 finale of Netflix's reality show, The Amazing Lives of Bollywood Wives, Shah Rukh spoke about everything Chunky and Bhavana did for him during his early days in Bollywood. Chunky's daughter and actor Ananya Panday is best friends with Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana.
Speaking to Filmfare in 2019, Ananya said that she spent much of her childhood around Shah Rukh. She also added that she considers actor Shah Rukh Khan to be her second father.
