Recently, there has been a growing trend in South Indian directors in Bollywood, with filmmakers like Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Gopichand Malineni, Atlee, Ar Murugadoss and Prasanth Varma approaching Hindi actors for the film. Recently, there was a report from Daaku Maharaaj’s director Bobby approaching Hrithik Roshan for the project. Here’s what he said when asked about it. Did Bobby approach Hrithik Roshan for his Bollywood debut?
Gulte reported on Monday that Bobby had approached Hrithik for his Bollywood debut. In the film industry, the proofreading was not yet confirmed, but there was an internal lecture that Hrithik even nodded to the preliminary narrative pitched by the director. It is also said that Bobby is preparing a script to meet the actor again, and if Hrithik gives his approval, the film will be made.
However, when the Hindustan Times contacted the director to confirm these claims, he said “it’s not true” without revealing details of the upcoming project.
