An estimated 200 local fashionistas and fashionistas Wanves gathered at the Edmonds Center for Arts auditorium on Wednesday night to celebrate the style of showcasing the homemade Edmonds boutique and shop offerings.
All outfits were put together by the store owner and staff, and the runway models were all community-based, many of which were ordinary customers of the shop.

“Combining the efforts of these special, creative and hardworking women, there’s about 85 years of fashion ability at the fingertips of our community,” co-host and former Sound Style owner Jenny Murphy welcomed the participants. “These women are true leaders of our beloved community, and once again, you don’t have to leave Edmonds to find the right look for you. The best fashion is at our fingertips.”
All the styles featured on the runway can be purchased behind the scenes, and many guests came home with new items to add to their wardrobe.

Participating shops were Anchor Chic, Curious Nest, Maje Gallery, NC Concept Store, Pear Tree Consignments, Rebekah’s Boutique, Saetia and Kita Events NW Bridal and Formal Wear. Additionally, organizers thanked Cline Jewellers and Fogo de Chao for their generous donations of raffle gifts.
Proceeds from the event support the ECA community outreach program, which brings the performing arts to all ages and groups, from schools to seniors.

“As an organization dedicated to the arts, the ECA only celebrates the arts of fashion,” said Cheryl Foster, the Honorary, event organizer and ECA board member.
