Erin Foster may appear in an episode of the hit Netflix series, “Nobody Wants This.” If only her sister Sarah, the show’s executive producer, could come up with the right characters and storyline.
While talking to people at the 2025 Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala, Erin, who created the streamer series, said, “I’ve always thought it was fun, but I’ve never created a character I thought was the perfect character.”
“Maybe Season 3, [sisters] Morgan [Justine Lupe] And Joan [Kristen Bell] Her sister replied that Erin “Oh, we’ll just replace them,” her sister offered.
“Nobody Wanted for This” was inspired by Erin’s real life with her husband, Simon Tickman. The series follows the love story of Rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) and Agnostic Sex Podcaster Joan (Bell) who are trying to develop a relationship with religion, culture and foot.
Erin married Tikman in 2019 after converting to Judaism.
Netflix has updated its series for the second season in October 2024. Erin is an unusual creator with a crystal clear voice and a true supportive spirit. I’m a true fan of Erin’s show and feel very fortunate that two of my favorites, Bruce Kaplan and Sarah Hayward, have returned from “girls.”
Erin Foster’s post suggests that Season 3’s “Nobody Wanted This” cameo first appeared in The Wrap.
