I'm not 100 yet. Perhaps some of you, or at least you may feel that way in the morning before your coffee, or see it like that.
Grand Theatre, on the other hand, doesn't feel or see it like a typical 100-year-old building. All the features of this extraordinary building shine from the bright light of the marquee to the gorgeous cushioned seats under the spectacular chandelier. New fresh paints, beautiful refined wood aprons, and gorgeous carpets (and more) keep the spectacular theatre looking like a gem!
And credit will be given to hardworking people who donated time and financial support to maintain this historic icon. Thank you, thank you!
The Grand Theater will change this year 100 years ago. We want you to help us celebrate the achievements together. Save these dates: August 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Those dates have fun programs brought to you by Rascal, who go by the name “3D'S&B.” The theme of the show is “100 Years of Love.” The theme features dances that highlight the decades of solos, duets, choirs, piano, brass instruments and grand theatre's life. Performances on Friday and Saturday begin at 7:30am, while performances on the 24th begin at 2pm. There will be a silent auction featuring Grand Theatre memorabilia on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. On Saturday nights, the VIP cabaret will be held before the main attractions. Box office revenue is available.
We plan to contribute to the silent auction. You know, I have a very unusual hobby. I make a knife. I take the steel, forge it and form it, grind it and grind it and heat it, erase it, polish it, polish it, polish it and handle it. This is a simple process consisting of hundreds of small steps, each of which can ruin your efforts. But let me explain to you, so that I don't think this is some kind of shameless plug, to promote and sell knives made by my hand.
My plan is to find unused metal at the Grand Theatre and turn it into a unique knife. I will donate it and the custom sheath to a silent auction.
In fact, Knife has a lot in common with people I know:
1. Available in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.
2. Some are beautiful. Others are built more for utilities.
3. It can be difficult to wear the handles.
4. Some can be dull.
5. Others have sharp edges on them
6. If you take care of them, they will treat you well.
7. Neither of them will work well when they lose their temper.
It appears I have wandered away from the true intentions of this article. In other words, please do the following: Save the dates August 22nd, 23rd and 24th to help celebrate our 100th birthday at our much-loved Grand Theatre! I hope you got my point!
