Green Day loves life now!
In an exclusive interview with people at the launch party for the band's new 7-Eleven Slurpee flavour, Kel Plank Candy Grape, held in Hollywood on Friday, May 2nd, band members Billy Joe Armstrong, Mike Dillund and Trecourt spoke about their new drinks and were honored with the star of the Hollywood Walk of Day.
Armstrong, 53, still wrapped his head in honor, told people he was tempted to walk to the group's newly-created star to see again.
Describing the moment as a “fever dream,” the lead vocalist and guitarist said, “I didn't think we had such a star. It's still sinking.”
“After the ceremony, I went and took a two-hour nap. I was so overwhelmed,” added Dirnt.

During the Walk of Fame event, Green Day was honored as the 2,810th star. Located at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard, next to Amoeba Hollywood.
The musical trio was joined by host Matt Pinfield and music producer Rob Cavallo, as well as Ryan Reynolds and Flavoured Flav, who gave a speech.

Now, celebrate a new slurpee flavor that tastes like a mix of cotton candy and grapes in green colour. kerplunk!because their second studio album was when the LP was released when Green Day spent the most time buying things at 7-Eleven.
Dirnt tells people that making Slurpee with Green Day's honor is even more deeply rooted, explaining it as “makes dreams come true.”
“When you're a little kid, you're trying to create your own flavour. Do you know? You're mixing all the different slurpee flavors together. Who doesn't want to design your own slurpee? I mean, it's just fun.
Cool, 52, agrees, calling Slurpee an instant joyful drink. “One thing I can say about Slurpee is that it is difficult to get upset or angry while drinking Slurpee, which induces happiness.

Kerplunk Kandy Grape Slurpee (a collaboration between Green Day, the band's coffee company Punk Bunny and Severeven) has limited time at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide.

In Los Angeles, fans can use a cup or receipt after purchase to visit the luxury Kel Planks Peak Ace Pop Up at 6501 Hollywood BLVD from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, May 3rd, Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday.
There, they can take part in sampling new products, get free apparel customizations, and get limited edition products.
The first 100 fans will receive items that include T-shirts, tote bags, hats and more every day.
