Carol Baum, a top Hollywood producer known for films such as “Father of the Bride,” “Shining Through,” and “Fly Away Home,” recently made harsh comments about rising Hollywood star Sidney Sweeney.

Last week at the Jacob Burns Center in Pleasantville, New York, Ms. Bohm said she couldn’t understand the hype around her after seeing Sidney Sweeney in the movie “Anyone But You on a Plane.” Admitted. She didn’t like the movie and she couldn’t understand why everyone was talking about The Sweeney. She explained, “She wanted to know who she was and why everyone was talking about her.”
Bohm once asked students at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts for their thoughts, but no one could get a good answer. she recalled. “I said to the class, ‘Please describe this girl.'” She’s not pretty, and she can’t act. why is she so hot? ” Bohm said. “No one had an answer.”
Baum was unimpressed with Sweeney, but said he might still work with him if he decided to make a movie. She explained: No one I know, your job is to make movies. ”
Sidney Sweeney’s path to fame
Sweeney became famous for her role as Cassie Howard on HBO’s Euphoria, for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award. She also received another Emmy nomination for her role in The White Lotus. Despite mixed reviews, Sweeney’s film Anyone But You did very well at the box office, earning over $200 million worldwide.
Before the film was released, there were rumors that Sweeney was having an affair with co-star Glen Powell. But she denied it when she hosted Saturday Night Live in March, saying, “That’s obviously not true,” adding, “That’s what me and her fiance said.” Ta.
