Get ready for this year’s hottest birthday party. The annual Hollywood Salsa Fest celebrates its 10th anniversary on Saturday at Young Circle Art Spark. If you want to eat, drink, or shake those hips, this is the place.
All the flavors, food and sounds of Latin culture are celebrated at the 10th Annual Hollywood Salsa Fest. Ah – and another milestone salutes too.
Melina Almodovar: “We have been holding an incredible salsa festival for the 10th consecutive year, and we are celebrating the city of Hollywood’s 100th anniversary.”
This 2-on-1 free birthday party dives deep into Hispanic happiness.
Melina Almodovar: “There are six bands. There are Latin dishes, there are dancers, there are all the music-based Latin and salsa.”
You can’t stop the shaking of your bonbons as some amazing musical performances hit the stage of the amphitheater.
Melina Almodovar: “And our headliner is Jose Alberto “El Canario.”

Not only did she tell us about the event, but she would front her band when she performs songs she wrote about the big birthday of the festival.
Melina Almodovar: “I wrote a great new song to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hollywood Salsa Fest, which is called “Baila Hollywood” meaning dance Hollywood. ”
As you know, this is South Florida’s biggest free salsa party. Fans of all ages have been packing the park for ten years.
