Kevin Bacon has sleep problems when doing horror projects.
The 66-year-old actor has appeared in many horror-themed films and television shows over the years, and Kevin has acknowledged that his work life can sometimes ripple into his real life.
When asked if “The Bondsman” (the new action horror series) had an impact on sleep, Kevin said, “It’s funny. It’s good many times. And sometimes, if you just live in a certain headspace, you’ll end up making sacrifices to you.
“Last night, my dreams were starting to get quite intense and scared, so I only caught up with you once in a while.
“I’m pretty good at trying to quit my job in the office, but what a guy is going through always needs to be in the depths of your mind. Well, once we get this, we’re going to stand up to the devil again.”
Kevin can count “Flatliner”, “Maxixin”, “They/They” in his horror projects, but he does not consider himself the “King of Screams.”
He added: “I like to do some horror and some horror movies. ‘Friday the 13th’, I was in the first film, so it became kind of iconic.
“But I go back to fear. And the reason I do is because it often provides the best thing to play. Life or death is because life or death is scary. Life and death is always interesting.”
Meanwhile, Kevin recently revealed that he would tell the DJ not to play “footloose” songs at his wedding.
The actor broke through his career in a 1984 musical drama film, but Kevin is asked to recreate scenes from the film every time he attends a wedding.
He told SXSW Variety:
“They always start with the bride, then alcohol is involved, and then by about 10:30 the song comes out and all of a sudden I get married about going out and dancing.
