The entertainment industry has provided many opportunities for artists. Bollywood has allowed many such actors and directors to explore and establish their skills, performances and luck. He said some people have worked hard in the industry for years but haven't been able to make a place for themselves. Some have even been unable to do so despite having strong pedigrees in the industry itself. One such actor is Sohail Khan, the youngest son of famous producer and screenwriter Salim Khan. He is the younger brother of Salman Khan, who is considered one of the biggest stars in the industry. Sohail Khan has been involved in film production and acting since 1997, but he has declined significantly over time. Let's take a look at Sohail Khan's journey in Bollywood.
Sohail Khan made his debut as a film producer and director with the 1997 action thriller film Auzaar. Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor played the lead roles. A year later, Sohail Khan directed the film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya starring his younger brother Salman and Arbaaz. Then, the youngest son of the Khan family took another step towards producing “Hello Brother” in 1999, which again featured the brothers.
In 2005, Sohail wrote, produced and directed his acting debut 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya' which had average box office performance. After that, he appeared in several more films, but none of them made much money. One of his successful films is his Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya co-starring Salman Khan. Although he had a series of unsuccessful films as an actor, he returned to produce another film, Partner, in 2007. It did well at the box office and starred Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.
After Veer, Sohail took a long break from acting, but made a comeback in 2017 with Tubelight alongside Salman Khan. Even in 'Tubelight', Sohail failed to grab the viewers' attention.
