The Grammy-winning producer described today’s music landscape as lacking the emotional depth that once defined the industry. He pointed out AI as an unexpected source of authentic creativity in what is considered a period of uninspired output.
Known for creating timeless tracks for icons like Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, and Aaliyah, hitmakers have expressed disappointment at the current trends, celebrating the creative potential of artificial intelligence.
“This election caused a rift between us. The sound is bland and lacks excitement.” Timbaland said. “We often discuss AI, but I think it’s the only one who embodies the real soul right now. It allows for the expression of true emotions, and as a result, it brings beautifully resonating art.”
