Imran Khan reflected on how he has lived for the past five years with only the bare essentials and nothing more.

Imran said:We started by moving to an empty place. I started bringing things into the space based on my requirements. There was a TV and a sofa as I like to watch movies. Little by little, I started bringing in only what I really needed. ” The actor continued: “We didn’t have any live-in staff. We had someone who came in every other day and did a deep cleaning. But I bought myself a Dyson vacuum cleaner and said, ‘I’ll clean it myself.’ If he only has three dishes, one for each meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, he only has to wash three dishes. So how big can the mess get? ”

The actor said he managed his space independently, but his meals came from his mother’s house. When asked about the rumors that he and his girlfriend Rekha Washington were renting Karan Johar’s flat, the actor said, “I don’t know. The idea of celebrity and fame and the idea of people literally following you and reporting on you and commenting on you and all that. I’ve always found it a little strange. ”
Imran said he was negotiating with Rekha on the three-plate policy and looking for a way to settle on a middle ground. “Negotiations are ongoing. It’s like, ‘Can we get more plates?’ How many do you really need? Maybe three. Is 5 enough? Six? Okay, three for you, three for me. “So that’s an ongoing negotiation and something we’re looking at as we move to a new location,” he said.
