‘I loved to know the khadi and chandeli dough. There is a lightness, a crispness, a richness, and a sense of something behind them. It is Indian culture. The material is soul, especially hand-woven fabric. You can see the human touch. There are things that remain unchanged, they will retain their meaning and stand the test of time. India is such a vast country, and it is an honor to be exhibited at India’s monumental entrance, with rich history and culture.“” Share Andreas Kronthaler, creative director at Vivienne Westwood.
The capsule collection is a homage to the diverse Indian landscape and its natural fibers, featuring an elegant palette of summer white muslin cotton, raw silk, sand muga silk, stone pashmina wool, sky blue cotton, vibrant purple raw silk and rich black cotton.
