Karl Lagerfeld's beloved Chopet wins a star in Hibro's anniversary campaign
You're welcome, Choupette.
The late Karl Lagerfeld's beloved Berman Cat has brought her back to brilliant modeling thanks to a new campaign celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hublot's Big Bang Collection.
Hublot CEO Julien Tornare shared the following statement: “The Big Bang represents the revolution in watchmaking, the perfect union of tradition and modernity. While still rooted in the value of luxury watchmaking, such as artisan quality and attention, Hublot has managed to position the Big Bang by innovating our industry in the Big Bang industry. Celebrate the courage to break the mold and experiment without fear of exceeding it.”
This campaign seeks to celebrate the brand's goofy side. Choupette's photos are certainly unexpected and certainly experiment with fun.
Choupette is no stranger to the camera, appearing in advertisements for Shu Uemura Beauty and German car companies, alongside Lagerfeld, in numerous magazine covers. And despite losing its ownership in 2019, the Blue Cream Cat is one of the richest pets in the world and is currently estimated to be worth $13 million.
