Everyone has one hero piece that will make you feel great no matter how often you wear it. You won’t fail again and again, so you’ll be pulled out on every major holiday or event. For Jennifer Lopez, the accessory is her beloved Dior Beach Bag.

The pop star has carried the same raffia design for almost a year, dusting every opportunity possible between May and September. She carried a $6,400 wallet throughout the summer of 2024, wearing it for lunch and multiple holidays for her 55th birthday (one on the Italian coast and the other for the Hamptons).

The singer of the continuous tradition, “Ai n’t Your Mama” broke her favorite bag on Mother’s Day. The floral basket was the focus of Lopez’s appearance, with the stars matching her other accessories and woven style.

She was also wearing an evil hat from Dior. The two pieces looked to the house next to a bouquet of orange and white flowers to the right. It is a gift from her two children, Emme and Max Muniz.

From there, Lopez unfolded a traditional uniform that is often worn for Mother’s Day brunch: the gingham midi dress. She features a low-scoped neckline, fit bodice and came in a taupe check print. Naturally, it was a brand known for its reform design and its hyperfeminine dress style.

The style, known as the Tagliatelle Linen Dress, rings for $278. Currently sold out with Lopez’s exact colorway, but Fit and Frey’s design is classic white (it’s perfect for graduation, picnics and bridal events) and I’m still shopping.

Reforms have long been a celebrity favorite, but stars like Taylor Swift especially love the brand’s gingham dress. The fellow pop star wore a red version of her own lipstick on the 2024 US Open. Although it is similar in shape, Swift’s Sora Linen Dress featured a lover’s neckline and mini hem. (She hasn’t revived the prints in her closet this year. Taylor Swift’s Reformation dress concluded the reign of prints throughout the summer of 2024. After these months, Lopez’s Mother’s Day means that the 2025 gingham season has officially begun.
