Moody Blues singer and guitarist Justin Hayward comes to the bold city and will perform at the Florida Theatre on April 21st. The “White Satin Night” singer will discuss his tour as a solo artist, along with Ukuhu’s Chase Bunker ahead of the upcoming show, in comparison to his new single “Life”.
“I can get the biscuits I really love,” joked Hayward about the difference between a solo tour and a band. “I like what I’m doing now. You know, it’s about songs and it’s really, in the end I learned that it’s just about songs.
Saying goodbye to Moody Blues, Hayward said: “I knew a really great day, so I’ll actually look at them throughout the ’80s. I was so lucky to have a record produced by Tony Visconti in the ’80s. I’m sure I’d relive that second chance somewhere and in my life, yes, I’d like to relive those times, but once Graham [Edge] I’m dead[…]The rest of our kind was going on outside the band. But Graeme, his life was about Moody, he was really the spirit of the band, and once he passed, I…it wasn’t for me anymore. But anyway, I’m already doing what I’m doing and this is how I like. ”
