Manasi Ghosh also shared her views on Indian music and what she felt about Western influences on it. “I’m not saying that the Western influence on music is bad. We still listen to Rata Mangeshkar, Bhimchand Joshi, Zakir Hussein Saa and everyone. We were listening to Michael Jackson. Now that’s a good thing.
Finally, Manashi, an eighth grader who decided to become a professional singer, shared a message to the aspiring singer. “There are so many musicians today, but leading experts and learning are very helpful. I’ll do something next,” she said before signing off.
