This week, the pop star and Disney Channel alumni spoke candidly about her mental, emotional and physical health, who announced her power through a “medical emergency” during her live “Big Year Day Party” TV special three years ago. The singers 32 of “Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the America” rang for NBC in 2023 and co-hosted “Miley's Big Year Day Party” with Godmother and music icon Dolly Parton. During the special produced by Lorne Michaels of “Saturday Night Live,” Cyrus performed live and took the stage alongside Parton, Paris Hilton, Shea and Fletcher. Latto, Rae Sremmurd and Liily were one of the musical acts that took part in the New Year celebration.
Cyrus, who told Lowe he couldn't miss out on the opportunity to work with both Michaels and Parton, told him that the holiday gig was “really tough for me,” and didn't go into further detail about his health horror. In December 2020, she spoke to Rolling Stone about her drug and alcohol use and how young drug-related deaths from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix encouraged her to “pull me.”[self] Together before 27 years old. ”
Drinking has always been an easy road for Cyrus, but this week she said, “Drinking is… like my god.”
