Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Journey Bollywood It’s nothing more than moving. From struggling for years to landing breakthrough roles, he provided powerful performances in films like Gang of Waseple, Lunchbox, Cloak, and Sacred Games. In his latest chat with the screens in the Creators X Creators segment, Nawazuddin did not refrain. From calling for fake Bollywood friendships to criticizing the rise of untrained actors, Nawazdin shared his honest views on what is actually happening behind the scenes of the Hindi film industry. When he turned 50, the actor looked back on his long and often tough journey, revealing the industry’s insecurities, lack of unity and true talent are often ignored.“I don’t have any real friends in Bollywood.”Siddiki revealed that he does not believe there is a real friendship in the film industry. “As time goes by, I’ll be alone today and there will be others tomorrow. It’s based on necessity and profit. The friendship I have in life is not from here, but from olden times.”He believes that most relationships in the industry are based on personal interests rather than loyalty or genuine connections. “It happens because there is anxiety here for all actors. So there is no strong friendship or loyalty to each other. The industry is not strong and united in that way.“Only here” actors who are not trained are given a major role.Apart from fake friendships, Nawazdin pointed out how Bollywood gives key acting roles to people who are not properly trained. “Actors that are not so reliable… they are made to act in some way. This only happens in our industry. Other industries only require professional and trained actors.Still focusing on strong storiesDespite his concerns, Nawazdin continues to work in films aimed at telling a powerful story. He was recently seen in Costao, a crime drama based on the real-life story of Costa of Fernandez. Gore customs officials in the 1990s gave up everything to stop the main gold smuggling rackets. The film shows his brave journey and tough choices, and Nawazdin brings much depth to the role. Next, the actor is reportedly filming in Lucknow for a sequel to “Rat Akeli Hai.” He returns as Inspector Jatil Yadav, a character who received many acclaim in the original film.
