All Rights Entertainment secured a deal with renowned Russian distributor Arna Media for the theatrical release of China's blockbuster Ne Zha 2 across Russia on May 29th.
The agreement was negotiated by Aurélien Piris of All Rights Entertainment, a sales company based in Paris, Hong Kong and LA, and is head of sales for Europe and Africa.
Written and directed by Yang Yu, the fantasy adventure has smashed box office revenue worldwide and has raised over $2.13 billion worldwide. It makes “Ne Zha 2” the fifth-highest profitable film of all time, the best gross animated film of all time, and the first non-American production to surpass the $2 billion threshold. The film also demonstrates impressive performances in the Western market, generating more than $20 million in the US and exceeding $1.5 million over the UK weekend.
This adventure, painted from Chinese mythology, follows the journey of Neza, a rebellious spirit born out of fire and destiny. When struck by God's lightning during battle, Neza and his companions are carried into the spiritual realm, with only the sacred Lotus offering a way into the world of living creatures.
Arna Media recently distributed several acclaimed titles, including Cannes Palme d'Or recipient “Anola” and Nicholas Cage's sleeper “Longlugs.”
“We're committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Nadezda Motina, president and founder of Arna Media.[CommonwealthofIndependentStates}WewilllaunchanextensivemarketingcampaignacrossallkeyplatformstosupportthereleaseIamconfidentthat'NeZha2'willwintheheartsofpeople'[CommonwealthofIndependentStates}WewilllaunchanextensivemarketingcampaignacrossallkeyplatformstosupportthereleaseIamconfidentthat‘NeZha2’willwintheheartsofpeople”
