Shumpert took a photo on the tunnel walk. “He was wearing a red naik because he likes to say he’s feeling bad in such a big game. His fit was perfect with matching red shorts, an all-black sports coat, a white shirt and tie and a business and casual blend.
Longtime NBA photographer David Sherman said tunnel walks have evolved over the years following a variety of fashion trends and NBA rules.
“It’s the intersection of fashion and sports,” Sherman said during a photo shoot of the athletes entering the locker room on Monday. “It’s an important part of the ecosystem.”
Most wolves wore casual fits to their Monday games. Veteran NBA player Mike Conley was found in a white crew neck sweatshirt behind “Good Guys Finish First.”
