Oroville, California – Oroville resident Theodore Milan recently headed to Hollywood for a cameo appearance on HBO's show The Rehearsal.
The show features Canadian comedian and actor Nathan Fielder. Nathan Fielder helps people practice their reactions to difficult conversations and life events through recreated real-life scenarios. A music artist from Oroville, Miland is renowned in the community for performing at events and teaching music and dance to local youths at the South Side Community Center.
His musical talent took him to Los Angeles, where he took part in a fake singing competition show as part of the premise of “rehearsals.” He describes the experience as an incredible opportunity to work with talented artists and create valuable connections in the industry.
“I was totally blessed and honored that the show reached out to me. I'm this little guy from Northern California. I wasn't expecting it. It doesn't make sense. I think this will help boost my career. I love music and I want to be part of my life in some way.”
He said he auditioned for shows for various songs in the past, including “American Idol,” “American Got Talent,” and “The Voice.” Miland's true passion lies in watching children brighten up through music and dance.
His “rehearsal” episodes have now become available on most streaming platforms.
