The Philippines’ premier pop culture convention, Toycon PH returns to its monumental 22nd year with an inspiring lineup of events, exclusives and guests. This year’s collaboration with the Mind-Style Pop Life Festival, the theme of the year is titled “Celebration,” reflecting a wider embrace of fandom, collector culture and creative expression.
This year, Toycon defeated Newgrounds with the official debut of the NBA brand, offering exclusive apparel and products. This is the first time a globally beloved basketball brand has joined Toycon, expanding the event’s reach into the sports collectors market, making it thrilling for Filipino basketball fans.
Gaming Nostalgia wins center stage thanks to the Gamers Republic, which hosts retro team tournaments featuring legendary PC titles such as StarCraft, Counter-Strike 1.3 and Dota 1.
Participants with dealer floors with over 400 exhibitors and vendors can shop for a huge variety of toys, collectibles and products. This includes exclusive launches from MindStyle’s Collectormate and Thrilljoy, and Infinite Brands’ Minix, Cada, Rastar and more. It also brings back brands of great powers such as LEGO, Bandai, Banpresto, Tamashii Countries, and the legendary Beast Studio.
Toycon PH is now synonymous with exclusive collectibles, and the same goes for 2025. Fans can expect rare releases from QUICCS, Collectormate, Thrilljoy, and Ultra-Limited Voltes V Event exclusive figures.
The upcoming Toyconcert features a major country’s music lineup with international and local performers such as Starmarie, Miura Ayme with Miko, Pastel Mix and Beverly.
TCG Tournament
Toycon 2025 welcomes trading card gamers, cosplayers and combat gaming communities with dedicated areas such as the TCG Alley (60+ vendor TCG Alley and all-new cosplay zones, with the goal of expanding its community reach. In partnership with Mana Underground, the event will also host the HighStakes TCG tournament for enthusiasts and pros.
Cosplay and anime fans have participated in snacks with the Return of Coscon, the prestigious cosplay contest, and a large lineup of special guest cosplayers from around the Philippines and Asia. Meet fan favorites like Een, Liabear, Kitz Cua, Pompomny, Chanel Yui (Singapore), Tiny Asa (Vietnam), Eri, Riela (Indonesia).
Tokuspirits also brings nostalgic punches with iconic Tokumi guests such as Ryota Ozawa (Gokai Red) and Yui Koike (Gokai Pink). Evangelion’s Akagi.
Local dubbed fans are excited for the historic reunion of the full Tagalog voice cast of One Piece’s Straw Hat Pirates. Participants will be able to meet the entire crew and get a rare look at the world of Filipino voice acting.
Creativity shines the spotlight with over 100 artists from the launch of artists’ alleys, toy customization contests, photography contests and international art toy design competitions. Here, one artist’s designs are selected and produced by MindStyle as a premium collection.
One of Toycon PH’s most anticipated moments was receiving the Pinoy Pop Culture Icon Award, an honor to celebrate the individual who has significantly shaped Filipino pop culture.
