UK-based satellite and internet TV provider Sky TV has announced a comprehensive set of updates in the coming days. This includes new levels of personalization, enhanced voice controls, and improved sports channels.

Sky has been offering TV via satellite dishes for decades, but in 2021 it launched Sky Glass. This was a TV with powerful Dolby Atmos speakers and Sky built-in, and was promoted as an all-in-one solution as it received programming over the internet. More than a plate.

The new cast and crew rail lets you see actors from the TV series and movies you're watching. This will allow you to meet everything they have ever experienced and give you new suggestions.
Low latency Sky Sports Main Event
If you're watching live sport, one of Sky's long-standing specialties, you'll want to watch it as close to the live event as possible, rather than a minute after it ends. Sky says that in the coming months, Low Latency means the delay will be reduced by more than 20 seconds, making it faster than many other streaming services. This will first take place on Sky Sports Main Event, and will then be rolled out to other Sky Sports channels later in the year.
