Soraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, made her acting debut in the 2015 romantic action film “Hero.” He later appeared on the other side of Mega Akash in the 2019 action drama “Satellite Shankar.” Recently, in his first podcast after being acquitted following a 12-year legal battle, Sooraj expressed doubt about Bollywood offering a second chance, describing himself as a newcomer in the industry.Questions about Bollywood as the “second chance industry”Speaking to Bollywood bubbles, Suraj discussed the idea of a second chance in Bollywood and expressed doubt that the industry truly functions as a “second chance industry.” He noted that many actors face numerous failures. It has been receiving offers for as many as 15 flops as they continue to receive offers for new films. He believes that in life, whether it’s the second, third, fourth or fifth opportunity, the film industry is just a small part of the big picture, and life itself offers many opportunities in many different ways.Faced with stigma and stay motivatedAddressing the stigma he faces following the legal battle, Sooraj admitted that such a judgment is inevitable and always lasting. However, he sees this as a driving force, and works twice as hard as before. He said, “I have to play twice as many times as I have to deliver, and in a way, that’s a good thing because I’m so motivated. I really want to prove I’m wrong.” While acknowledging that he still needs to learn a lot about his skills, Sooraj expects to reach a powerful and successful stage in both his personal and professional life in several more films.A fresh start: newcomers’ thinkingSooraj described himself as a newcomer and felt like he was starting to be fresh again. He emphasized that he was taking care of his mind, body, soul and energy in preparation for this new beginning. For him, meditation meant going to the gym and sweating with weight training, boxing and strict dieting, which served as a way to relieve stress. He recommends this approach to those experiencing anxiety, stress, sleepless nights, or depression, and explains that sweating it can help relieve stress as well as calories. He believes this routine will significantly reduce anxiety. Furthermore, Sooraj said that he continues to pray internally, often reciting “Har Har Mahadev” as an inner strength and gentle source.
