Memories of Tatyana Ali, who worked on a 1999 comedy, Joebreaker Not everything is positive.
Ali shared on Instagram on Saturday that she was being bullied on the set of the film, explaining how her co-star Rose McGowan carried her on her back.
“These are from Joebreaker (1999). When we filmed this, I was actually the only person in high school, and I especially dealt with a bit of bullying on set from one actress,” the actress captioned the carousel in three photos.
She continued.
In her reply, McGowan commented, “I'll try again,” followed by a Red Heart emoji, which she commented as an eternal combination of “dignity, brain, beauty.”
Teen Classic follows a trio of friends who accidentally kill their best friend and try to hide what happened. Written and directed by Darren Stein. Ali and McGowan starred Rebecca Gayhart, Julie Benz and Judy Greer. It was released more than 25 years ago and earned $3.1 million at the box office with a $3.5 million budget.
2017, Hollywood Reporter Scripted TV series adaptation Joebreaker Stein was working on Stein to write a script, but it never aired. The series is supposed to take place in Beverly Hills and is set to follow a new creek that caused an accidental murder at the Bachelorette Party.
