Mumbai (Maharashtra):
With all the much-anticipated sequels to the 2021 horror film “Chhorii” scheduled to be released on April 11th, actor Nushratt Bharuccha returns to the lead role, with director Vishal Fria recently sharing his thoughts on the film and what the audience can expect.
While talking to Ani, Bharuccha revealed the time between the two films and how the four-year gap can help her grow and take a break.
Speaking about how important it is to take a step back, the actress said, “The four-year gap was very helpful. If this was a succession, I don’t know what I did.
Sharing how good it feels to be grateful to the audience, Barcha added, “It feels good to want to give a performance and have a positive impact on the audience. It feels like a pat on the back, just like you’ve done something meaningful.”
When asked if there was a universe of Chorii, director Vishal Fria said, “I don’t know about the universe, but I hope that the story advances from here. I haven’t written anything yet, but people like chhorii 2 want this hope.
The trailer for “Chhorii 2” was released earlier this week. It begins with a dark and emotional story in which Nushrat’s personality is told by his daughter. There, the king, angry at the birth of a girl, orders Dasi to kill the child.
Chhorii 2, director Vishal Fria, who directed the first part, also features Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen and Hardika Sharma.
The film is scheduled to premiere worldwide on April 11, 2025 under the banners of the T-Series, Abundantia Entertainment, Psyche and Tamarisk Lane Productions.
