The Rome ruler of WWE is revealing a lecture where the character’s rule will be performed, which could potentially star in upcoming films.
Following years of speculation about the tribal leader’s transition to Hollywood, it was reported on May 21 that the Roman ruler will be appearing in upcoming live-action films based on Capcom’s “Street Fighter” video game franchise.
Fightful Select is offering updates to Deadline’s original report, according to sources in the film and gaming industry, noting that nothing has been finalized yet.
The report noted that the ruler is being considered for akuma’s role in the film. Many fans didn’t think this was true. Akuma is the main antagonist of the series, with strong connections to Japanese culture.
The Roman ruler previously said he feels that he feels that he has “only the biggest of another year or two” in wrestling after his current contract expired, following WrestleMania 42 in April 2026.
In this same interview, Reigns expressed his interest in pursuing an acting career in Hollywood, pointing to his desire to work with some amazing filmmakers and actors he can learn from.
Roman Reigns last wrestled at WrestleMania 41, pinned to Seth Rollins following betrayal from Paul Heyman in the 3-way main event featuring CM Punk.
