Bill Abbott, president and CEO of Great American Media, is on a mission to support faith and family-friendly entertainment. He has a message about what Hollywood is kicking out.
“We have a very loyal audience. We want to see the value of traditional family members in most of the country and truly experience content that supports our faith, family and nation,” Abbott recently told CBN News in the National Religious Broadcasting Bureau Convention. “And you see Hollywood and 98, 99% of what’s produced is… anti-American, people of faith are lightly meant, ocky, and families are never shown in a traditional sense.”
He said that families want to be raised and well represented along with great American families and associated brands that rely on the core pillars of “faith, family, country” when they create content.

Abbott said people on the left side of the Political Center often use Hollywood as a means of socially designing it and promoting the story.
But the great American media is aiming to raise elation and powerful emotions, he said.
“We are happy to sit in our space with most of the country,” he said.
As the current culture changes, Abbott said people are willing to acknowledge their opinions and perspectives and take the “breath of relief.”
“I’m very blessed to see things have changed,” he said.

Currently, Great American Family and Great American Pure Frix are the leading power players in the faith and family-friendly streaming space.
“At the moment, when we sit today, we are the leading streaming providers of faith and family. [and] “Pro-national content,” he said. “Linear television is where we have had many successes, but the landscape is changing dramatically. Every day, the code is cut off by more and more people.”
Abbott said the plan is to continue serving fans and learn what a pure Flix audience wants to see.
“We’ve got it… mission…and we’re never going to deviate,” he said. “It’s entertainment without compromise. We don’t compromise on standards or disappoint our audience.”
