For this week’s Maxi Challenge, the girl audition to star Rupaul’s Drag Race Live In Las Vegas. All five finalists dance to the “gift shop” and lip sync. Rupaul’s Drag Race Live. The runway category is “luxurious outerwear.” The gems have white feathers that adorn their heads all the way to the toes, making them feel like “angels.” Lexi wears a purple “Your Dream Puff Coat” with a heart mirror piece. The judges did not see the fragility of the gem until they admitted they had not made a five-year plan. Lexi’s criticism is mostly positive, except that Ross wins her promotional video. Both Ross and Tracy feel that Onia “with eyes” during her musical performance, but Lou brings out her “protected” personality. Sam’s orange look “ages her,” says Ross, but Tracy felt “cut off” in the promotional video. Susie’s tap dancing sailor routine received this hilarious criticism from Ross.
The judges will deliberate and determine that the winner of the challenge is a gem, but both Lexi and Oniya are safe. The gem will win $5,000 cash tips and an invitation to join the cast of Rupaul’s Drag Race Live In Las Vegas. Unfortunately, that means Sam and Susie will be in Bottom 2 this week. They sync lip to “love kids” Diana Ross and the Supremesand Susie quickly removes her red coat. Before the end of the song, the girl shares an emotional embrace as she talks about the love of each other.
