Kim Kardashian is filled with cowgirl chic at this year’s Met Gala.
And while the reality star was undoubtedly surrounded by stylists who helped make her black leather chrome heart dress and matching fedora, she had one influencer you might not expect.
On the Met Gala Carpet, Kardashian told Emma Chan Baren in Vogue that he likes bringing his eldest son, Northwest, to prepare for the Gala every year.
Chamberlain asked Kim, “What did she teach about fashion?” Kim said, “She’s a big critic. But that’s pretty good, her criticism. Just be yourself.”
Kardashian says 11-year-olds are “in a good place.” There, they don’t encourage people to find their own style.
Northwest Watch mom works carpet from car
Like in the past few years, the Northwest saw her mom working Met Gala carpets from her car.
There was no option to allow him to come north as Kim Kardashian’s Plus One.
Met Gala has strict rules that guests must be 18 years old or older.
However, Kim brings her north with her every year and says she loves to see her and her sisters ready in the hotel. “It’s been a fun few days,” Kim told an interviewer at Vogue.
Kim Kardashian hasn’t missed the Met Gala since 2013
However, the Northwest actually attended her first Met Gala at the same time her mother did.
Kim Kardashian first climbed these iconic steps in 2013 when she was pregnant in the north.
And she hasn’t missed it since. Among her most iconic moments, 2022 should rank close to the top. The Kardashian borrowed a dress designed by Bob Mackey, famous for singing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy at Madison Square Garden.
To fit in the dress, Kim was quoted saying she lost 16 pounds in three weeks at Vanity Fair.
In 2024, Kim said that her dress corset was very tight and that she had to practice before the gala, as breathing was a “art form.”
But in 2021, Kim rocked her most shocking look, covering her head to toe in black, including her face.
In this year’s look, Kim’s Cowboy nods to this year’s theme, “Super Fine: Tailing Black Style,” with the dress code being “tailored for you.”
Chrome Hearts’ concoction featured a print corset top of the crocodile in the back and a low soaking skirt, especially when Kim and Kita left the hotel and the guards stumbled on her train. The moment was caught up in video by a bystander and posted to Tiktok.
Kardashian sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner also wore Ferragamo and Givenchy respectively.
