This summer, you can add Beyoncé to your list of country artists at MetLife Stadium.
Bay’s Cowboy Carter Tour held its first five night show on Thursday, May 22nd, at the East Rutherford venue. World superstars have created her name in R&B and Pop World.
Although not confirmed, many feel that Beyoncé’s warm reception at the 2016 Country Music Awards has caused a shift.
“It came from an experience I wasn’t welcome years ago…and it was very clear that I wasn’t,” Beyoncé said in a 2024 Instagram post.

Bay performed with Chiyo and the others at the 2016 CMAS.
“The criticism I faced when I first entered the genre forced me to push past the limits that hit me,” Beyoncé added. “Act II is the result of challenging myself and spending time bending and blending genres to create this piece.”
“Act II” is a “Cowboy Carter” and this act is still unfolding. Upcoming shows at MetLife are Saturday, May 24th. Sunday, May 25th. Wednesday, May 28th. Friday, May 29th.
