“I was reading stories about a nobleman who basically killed his family because he was blowing all the money away and didn’t have the courage to tell them,” explains White. “The way Timothy’s family sees him is so important to his sense of self that when it is in danger he will burn the whole house more than face music.
But when they get home they are due to a rude awakening, he says. “It’s a kind of bittersweet ending. Life passes through this personal valley,” he says. “But what happens to them without all their comfort? I’m Victoria (Parker Posey) He is a person who can live in poverty. I’m sure she’ll find another solution,” he teases.
And finally there’s Gateku (Tayme Thapthimthong), who will shoot and kill Rick – and get a girl. “One concept about Buddhism is non-violence,” explains White. “To bring a man who really supports you, understand his sensitive nature, become his girl’s hero and become his work hero.
So, what will happen next season? “In the fourth season, I want to get out of the slang “crashing waves against rocks,”” he says with a laugh.
