Meghan Markle is all about protecting her peace.
At the Time 100 Summit held in New York City on April 23rd, the Duchess of Sussex said, “I tried very consciously to create boundaries for myself and my mental health, my happiness, and certainly for my children, to create boundaries for role models.”
“I'm conscious of not only raising a very strong and confident young woman, but also raising my son,” she continued. “I think it's important that young men be able to develop with confidence and self-sense, and empower the women around them.”

Quoting inspiration from Tina Fey's quote – “If you start to feel better about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet and you can find a lot of people who don't like you” – Meghan said, “I'll try to adjust that noise with anything.” Do you go to the internet to read about yourself? “I won't,” she said.
Unintended side effects? She often “lives on the boat,” she said.
“It will draw my attention to things that need to be known elsewhere,” she added. “It's part of what I found to bring peace. It also helps me to focus very, very strategically on the intent of the producers we are doing that I want to bring to the table.”

And it seems the work is working. “The confession for you that I can comfortably say today is that I am the happiest I've ever had,” Meghan said on stage with Time CEO Jessica Sibley. Referring to Prince Harry who was with her at the event, Meghan said, “I have a partner and husband with a very supportive and very enjoyable healthy child.

Her lack of scrolling might mean that she's sometimes off the loop, but her work life had a positive advantage, as she's primarily offline, she said. “It gives me a lot of space to focus because so many of us aren't in the same world that we found us,” Meghan said.
When she launched the Netflix series With love, Meganher lifestyle brand, and her new podcast, confessions of female founders, are essentially parallel to each other, this chapter is “incredibly busy and ambitious”, and she watches it all “revived” and says, “I give you space and grace to make mistakes and know you're not right every day.”

Just like her business venture, her kids put everything in sight. Meghan said when something feels “so, so big,” “somehow it becomes important and microscopic what's going on with your child. That's certainly what I feel.”
