Yashibaldan Ahuja, son of Bollywood actor Govinda, was due to make his debut in the 2023 Telugu film Baby Hindi remake. The film also starred Babir Khan in the lead role. However, the project is now struck by obstacles after Irfan Khan's son came out of the film following the release fallout with Sai Rajesh. Filmmakers have criticized Babil's recent emotional breakdown video, which went viral on social media and demanded a public apology.
According to a report by Peeping Moon, the Hindi remake is pending as producers are currently looking for alternatives to Khan's role. “Manufacturers have spent nearly six months finalizing their female lead, debutante and are now facing the difficult task of recasting male leads. This will take a lot of time. For now, production is pending and no timeline for reopening has been confirmed,” the source shared.
Baby's Hindi remake will be produced by Madhu Mantena in conjunction with Geetha Arts from Allu Aravind and original Telugu producer Sreenivasa Kumar Naidu.
Babir Khan was reportedly cast in the role originally played by Anand Deverakonda, while Yashvaldan Ahuja was set to reprise the character of Viraj Ashwin

Earlier this year, on Yashvardhan's birthday, director Sai Rajesh shared a heartfelt photo with his social media debutant, spreading his warm wishes. In response, Yashvardhan said, “Sirrr will be proud of you! You are ready to give blood, sweat and tears. You know that it will become a beautiful experience on your set and turn your vision into reality!”
Official confirmation from the manufacturer regarding the film's cast and release date is still awaited.
